Kudos to Grand Valley State University for a nice article in Inside Higher Education today for their Omni program. The program features a hybrid model to provide the learning modality that a significant group of learners prefer. A recent Tyton Partners study, "Time for Class 2023," showed student preferences on course modality are widely varied with 31% preferring Face-to-Face, 22% Hybrid, 15% Asynchronous, Fully Online, and the remaining closely split between HyFlex, Blended, and Fully Online, Synchronous.Kara Van Dam is spot on when she notes for adults that proximity and access matter, and sometimes you need that face-to-face option. https://lnkd.in/gjvVPdXZ
